Personally I have read a lot of motivational books and have watched a lot of motivational videos, even listened to motivational music. I must say that I have gained a lot of insight out of these and was able to see things in a different perspective. This has contributed a lot to me in terms of personal growth.

I must say that I have been inspired by writers such Napoleon Hill, Steven R. covey,Richard Branson and many more writers. The likes of Leo Buskalias and Dr. David Molapo from the Republic of South Africa have impacted my life positively through their positive talk.

The real question that people out there have is: does reading motivational books and listening to motivational speakers bring about a real change into a person's life, or person feels puffed up for the moment that the are listening or reading the book and back to square one in a matter of few days?

The most burning issue is the perception by critics that this is all the money making scheme by writers and speakers on the motivation subject, and that it does little or nothing to their supporters.

Personally I restate that I have benefited a lot, I have not just been puffed up for a short while. It all depends who/what are you reading or listening to. Yes indeed there is a lot of crap going out there in the market but with the ability to spot out good material out there in the market place, one can benefit a great lot.

  1. I can say and also positively raise a vote of agreement to that. Good material has lashed out introverts into stage lovers, myself included.

  2. So brief and to the point,I have known myself as an introvert for most part of my life but now I see myself as an introvert lashed out into being a stage lover. The mere fact one goes out to start a blog means that one is not afraid of attention. That actually means that person like that is good confidence and thank to all the books that I have read, they have helped me a lot regarding how do I perceive myself as a person. Thank you Mac-faith for commenting.
